Grand Theft Auto IV enters the top 10, but can it threaten Football Manager 2009?

A good half a year after the console versions were released, the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV has now finally been unleashed in the UK, although it's only entered the chart at number 2. Unsurprisingly, Football Manager 2009 is still holding the number 1 spot, while Left 4 Dead has dropped from number 4 to number 8 and Lara Craft's latest Underworld adventure has fallen out of the top 10 completely. See the full top 10 below:

Football Manager 2009 (No change)
Grand Theft Auto IV (New entry)
Call of Duty: World at War (Last week: 2)
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 (Last week: 5)
World of Warcraft: Wrath of Lich King (Last week: 3)

Left 4 Dead (Last week: 4)
Far Cry 2 (Last week: 8)
The Sims 2: Double Deluxe (Last week: 9)

There's been little in the way of major changes further down the chart, although Dead Space has re-entered the chart at number 16, and it now looks as though Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir is on its way out at number 20. You can see this week's top 20 below:

The Sims 2: Apartment Life (No change)
Tomb Raider: Underworld (Last week: 10)
World of Warcraft: Battle Chest (No change)
Civilization IV: Complete (Last week: 15)
Need for Speed: Undercover (Last week: 12)

FIFA Manager 09 (Last week: 16)
Medieval II: Total War - Gold Edition (Last week: 20)
Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir (Last week: 14)

Despite falling down to number 8 in the ELSPA chart, Left 4 Dead is still ruling the Steam chart, although this isn't particularly surprising given that the game was developed by Valve. Meanwhile, there's a new entry in the form of Defense Grid: The Awakening at number 6 and Football Manager 2009 has fallen down to number 9, showing that Football Management sims are much more popular in UK shops than in international download stores.
